Nominees for the 2024 Ignatz award, the premiere honor for small press comics, were just announced. In addition, The Small Press Expo (SPX), which sponsors the Ignatzes, is launching The Ignatz Archive, a section of their website devoted to past nominees and winners.
Not really any major trends among the nominees except excellence: a nice mix of veterans Huizenga, Nilsen, McDonnell) and the new kids (all the rest! check them out!)
