EA Sports FC 24’s upcoming update will bring a significant “refresh” of PlayStyles.
As Season 4 in EA Sports FC 24 comes to a close this week, players can look forward to a new season pass to progress through in Ultimate Team. It’s also an opportune time for Electronic Arts, the developer, to introduce a substantial new patch to EA Sports FC 24. Earlier today, the team announced that Title Update 11 is on its way to the game. The Spring Update includes a “refresh” of several PlayStyles, with some small tweaks and more substantial changes to PlayStyles like Power Shot and Aerial. Players will need to adjust to these changes when the patch is implemented.
In addition to the PlayStyles refresh, there are several other changes on the horizon. Players can expect adjustments to AI opponents, especially on Legendary difficulty. The patch also includes visual fixes in Ultimate Team to enhance the overall experience. Furthermore, EA has made general fixes, including the addition of 86 new star heads to increase realism in EA Sports FC 24.

Gameplay
The following PlayStyles have been slightly adjusted:
Tiki Taka | Lowered accuracy and pass quality of first-time passes.
Pinged Pass | Decreased accuracy of Driven Passes.
Pinged Pass+ | Increased accuracy of Driven Passes.
Jockey | Reduced maximum possible Sprint Jockey speed.
Press Proven | Reduced shield effectiveness with the ball.
Press Proven+ | Increased shield effectiveness and Strength Attribute effectiveness while shielding.
Long Ball Pass and Long Ball Pass+ | Decreased accuracy of crosses.
Power Header | Increased ball speed from lower powered headers.
Dead Ball | Reduced set piece preview line length.
The following PlayStyles have been significantly adjusted:
Power Header+ | Reduced ball speed for medium to high powered headers.
Relentless and Relentless+ | Reduced stamina recovery during half time and extra time.
Aerial+ | Reduced added running jump height, including jogging jump height.
Power Shot and Power Shot+ | Reduced ball speed from Power Shots.
Other changes include:
Replaced the previous unique ball roll standing animation for Trickster and Trickster+ PlayStyles with a new animation.
Adjusted Legendary difficulty CPU AI behavior.
Added 1 new clearance animation and 4 new shooting animations based on real-world data.
Ultimate Team
The following change has been made:
Legendary difficulty no longer uses Competitor Mode in Squad Battles and single player Ultimate Team Draft.
The following issues have been addressed:
Various visual and display issues in Stadium lights, Squad Battles, Player Items, Objectives, and more.
Stability issues during gameplay and viewing Player Bio screens.
General, Audio, and Visual
Updated messages, button callouts, celebrations, equipment, and visuals.
Added 86 star heads and updated 9, visible after a Server Release.
Addressed stability issues and text conflicts.
