After speaking with her protege, Eiko Hasigawa, in Gotham City, Selina Kyle prepares for her next mission. She dives into the ocean in search of a missing movie producer who was working on a documentary about Tritonis, a sea kingdom. Catwoman encounters the Tritonians and discovers that the city and the missing producer are under the control of Victoria Viceroy and her N.E.M.O. Cell. A battle ensues, resulting in Catwoman rescuing the producer, Justice Jordan, but facing a life-threatening situation herself. With the help of a cat god, Selina survives and returns to the surface with Justice.
Justice wants to retrieve his movie, but Selina is more focused on staying alive. Eventually, she agrees to help him, leading to a confrontation with the Tritonians and N.E.M.O. Agents. The issue ends with Viceroy forming an alliance with other villains to take down Catwoman.
It becomes clear that Selina is connected to a cat god, although she is unsure of what that means for her. As she faces new enemies, Selina must navigate this spiritual connection while dealing with the challenges ahead.
While the story introduces a new threat to Catwoman, it falls short in delivering a compelling narrative. The focus on retrieving a movie feels out of character for Selina, and the mission’s purpose remains unclear. Despite this, the artwork and colors capture the underwater setting effectively, especially Selina’s wetsuit design.

Final Thoughts
Beautiful issue with fantastic character designs but unfortunately a pointless story. I would like to see what this new villainous alliance will bring to the book though.
