The Teen Titans movie may still be quite a ways off, but that doesn’t mean we can’t start getting a sense for the plot.
According to trade publication Production Weekly, the film is targeting a late 2025 production start, but there may already be a plot synopsis. According to the report, we’ll be seeing a fractured team until one of them needs everyone to come back together.
The Teen Titans are further apart than ever before…until Damian Wayne recruits Starfire, Raven, Beast Boy and the new Kid Flash to join him in a fight against his own grandfather, Ra’s al Ghul.
This is the plot of a previous comics run, so it is possible it is just being used from there. We do recommend taking it with a grain of salt for the time being.
DC Studios has retained Ana Nogueira, the same writer as Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, to write the script for this upcoming project.
Most recently the Titans were the topic of a live-action TV series that began life on DC Universe before moving over to HBO Max/Max to finish up its run.
No information is available on a potential timeline for the film’s production or release date. With Nogueira presumably still wrapping up the Supergirl script, this would more than likely be her next project.
DC Studios has not yet issued an official comment.
