Eric Kripke, the creator of The Boys, has expressed his desire to create a TV show or movie set in the Star Wars universe in the future. A lifelong fan of Star Wars, Kripke revealed his passion for the franchise during an interview, where he sat in front of a replica of Han Solo’s blaster. He has previously mentioned that characters from Supernatural were inspired by Solo and Skywalker, showing his deep connection to the series.
While there has been no official announcement regarding Kripke’s involvement in a Star Wars project, fans can expect updates in the future. Currently, Kripke is focused on wrapping up The Boys as the fifth season will be its last. Season 4 is currently airing on Prime Video, following the adventures of Butcher, Hughie, and the rest of the crew as they battle corrupt Supes and Vought International.
Kripke expressed his concerns about maintaining the rebellious spirit of The Boys franchise and not succumbing to commercialization. Despite this, he continues to work on existing spin-offs and upcoming projects related to The Boys.
