“Nightwing & Deadman: Down the Road Part 2”
Writer: Tim SeeleyArtist: Kelley JonesColors: Michelle MadsenLetters: Rob Leigh
Deadman and Nightwing team up to follow a mysterious woman in red sashes with a cryptic message. They uncover clues in rural Pennsylvania and encounter a possessed child with a red balloon, leading them to a secret circus performance.
However, the story becomes convoluted with too many characters and ideas, overshadowing the partnership between Nightwing and Deadman. The narrative explores themes such as corporatization, free will, and purgatory, but fails to fully develop them, resulting in a chaotic and unfocused plot.
The artwork by Kelley Jones and Michelle Madsen also struggles to complement the storytelling, with confusing action scenes and lack of coherence.

Review: Batman: The Brave and the Bold #14
Final Thoughts
Batman: The Brave and the Bold #14 is bogged down by a convoluted opener and lackluster storytelling. But there’s still some fun to be had with the continuation of Time Jerks, The Invader, and the innovative closer: The Evidence Remains.
