Given the creatures’ sensitivity to sound in the A Quiet Place universe, Alex’s asthma may play a significant role in gameplay mechanics. Additionally, pre-release footage hints at a potential storyline involving Alex taking a pregnancy test, suggesting childbirth may factor into the gameplay or serve as part of her background before the alien invasion.
