Assassin\’s Creed Mirage introduces permadeath mode after multiple delays.
Last year, fans of Assassin\’s Creed Mirage eagerly anticipated the permadeath mode until Ubisoft announced that it would be postponed to 2023. Despite receiving the New Game Plus mode last year, players have been eager for permadeath since its announcement. After a few additional months of waiting, the permadeath update for Assassin\’s Creed Mirage will finally be released on February 20th. The “Full Synchronization Challenge” will push players to their limits, as their save file is deleted when they desynchronize from the animus. Players who successfully complete the mode will earn different cosmetics based on the difficulty level they choose to play on.
Update 1.0.7 brings more than just permadeath mode to Mirage. Players will also have access to a new feature that allows them to switch between costumes. This Transmog feature expands cosmetic options. Additionally, Ubisoft teases a new Easter egg involving cats for players to discover. The update also includes several bug fixes to address issues that have been affecting the game in recent weeks. This includes fixes for the New Game Plus mode, making it easier to skip through downtime.
Below are the full patch notes for Update 1.0.7. Assassin’s Creed Mirage is currently available on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC platforms.
