This previous summer time I discovered an awesome comedian assortment in a neighbor’s basement, and promised to assist him promote it; properly that point has come!
I head over to do a closing stock of the gathering and discover but extra comics I hadn’t seen earlier than… together with one other huge key comedian I couldn’t dwell with out! Take a look at the video to see what I discovered and the way we plan to promote the gathering!

Did you pick up Cerberus?
At 3:43, that romance book is worth big money in high grade. I buy it at the show if I wasn’t stuck in Mississippi.
You're a great person for helping him out and don't let anyone tell you otherwise! Also great pick ups
Nice books and review.
Great books, and tell people I said don't worry about the books you get and they don't. I'm sure if they were in your position they would of picked up more than 6 books out of that great collection.🐻
Keep all those 10centers
Did I see an Adventure 247? First appearance of Legion? Also first Sunboy issue?
Is that Cerberus first print? That is huge if it is
I wonder what the value of this person's collection was, cause it looks huge. :0
Wow, just wow. In awe of that collection
I plan to be in Bristol Sunday and look forward to meeting you. Looks like some great books will be there 🙂
That scarecrow with the dangling eye brings back memories. It was one of my faves in my original collection because it always made me stop when I was browsing through the boxes.
Hi! I’m interested in some of the older underground /Indie books that might be in the collection. I saw a few in the video. I plan to be at the show!
Those flash books
7:51 Justice League of America #10 first appearance of the villain Felix Faust a sorcerer featured on the cover! Also the first appearance of Epoch the lord of time and the Demons Three.
Awesome video as always mike. It's really cool that you're helping this guy with his collection. Are you going to film this event for his comics? That's pretty sweet that you got the first appearance of the juggernaut for a good deal. Are you going to see if Comic Spa can work his magic or leave this one as is? I went to a somewhat local comic con and I finally got Uncanny X-men #129. There were two booths that wanted A higher price. I just need Uncanny X-men #130 to complete my Dark Phoenix saga. I had the chance to buy it but with the hype of Taylor Swift rumors, the price has gone up. I also got a king size X-men #4, X-men days of the future:doomsday #1, and Eerie Magazine #13. Love the old horror magazines. Keep on collecting Mike.
First kingshark shouldve been a wall book
Very nice books!!!
Ya but you pillaged all the good stuff already lol jk I want that planet comics Dave Steven's cover and the DD 43. How much?
Excellent content as always. Very refreshing to come home from a 12 hour day at work and check out your videos. The friendly guy who loves comics just as much as we do who you wish was your neighbor. Keep up the great work Mike.
How much is the Machine Man issue 1 comic book and also where monsters dwell comics?…Also would postage to Britain be possible?
This is literally like working in a museum. There is so much good stuff in every box.
What a guy you are. A+ for you sir!
Dude first good luck to your bud at the con and second I could only imagine the history in those boxes and awesome job helping him out these type of videos of helping make my day in the nerd community
This is so awesome seeing you help out a fellow collector like this. I hope there's a great turnout and he makes some money. There's an amazing selection of books there. And that X-Men 12? So sweet! Just remember what our friend Joe AKA Threesixty Comics always says, Low Grade is Better than No Grade. You're one of the best examples of how awesome our community is, Mike!
Hi Mike. Great video. Your neighbor has a great collection. Do you know what grading source he used to determine his prices? I wish him success at the con.
The Cerebus #1 is the best book! Is it a 1st print and not a counterfeit?
SCORE!😊
Great video once again. I hope your friend makes a lot of sales for hours great collection, and you got two great pickups.
Keep your eye on that Young Love in your wall books box. That one has hit triple digits lately
Good evening Michael.
Ah Happiness! A man with no hang ups about his hobby is a happy man. I still look at a Spider-Nan cover and go wow! I still look at a Scooby Doo cover and crack a smile. I can see you slabbing you Uncanny X-man to preserve it, which is great, it is a great slice of comic history, Never apologise for being an outstanding human being, we need a whole bunch more of you in the world.
Cheers Al The Goldkeyfourcolorkidownunda
how does he have these grails? did he just collect everything at the time, or did he buy other collections? so random but amazing – is your neighbour knowledgable about these keys? great fun episode again
The collection is much larger, more diverse and covers many more eras than expected. I thought he collected mainly in the 60-70's. You don't often see Elfquest and Zap comics among superhero collectors. Great find!
You got an amazing collection and I am still saving up to get my last grail books TMNT#1, Primer#2,Hulk#181, X-Men#1 1963, Amazing FANTASY#15 and maybe a page from Batman#1 and then my collection is complete. If I find keys cheap though I will pick them up.
I wonder if you could go through the process of submitting a bunch of the best books to cgc to get a pedigree label going for this collection. I'd love to buy the Zap Comics. I'm so sad that you're not going to be selling any of these online where I can get a shot at them. I'm too far away to travel to whatever comic show you're going to. Best of luck. Hope he makes a ton of cash. Looks like you're having a good time as well.
Send X-men 12 To your comics presser n have it graded. For yellow pages There’s an UV light treatment to whiten the pages n stop acid decorations … I think. Grab that with Dave stevens cover
Amazing collection! Even in rough shape it must have felt like finding buried treasure flipping through those boxes for the first time.
I had a similar situation with my uncle many years ago where he gifted me a bunch of his old, beat up comics for helping him move. I grabbed some GREAT ones, including a copy of the same X-Men #12. It’s one of the gems of my PC, even though it’s low grade.
Maybe he has an X-men number 1 just laying around in his house. You never know….
Another great video! What do you have on the wall in your backdrop that lets you display your raw books? Thanks!
Your X-Men 12 copy is awesome, mine has a date stamp on the x as well.
Espn country
Wow, an Argosy Weekly from 1933 in such good condition – just amazing.
I agree about date stamps on comic covers, they contribute to the book's provenance.
Looking forward to the follow-up video Mike on the comics show and how this collection is received by attendees. With so many great comics, I believe the owner's tables will be busy all day.
This was amazing thank you for helping him
First Juggy is a nice addition to the PC! Kudos, Mike.
It’s really nice of you to help this guy. Those who are giving you grief about buying all of the better books I would ignore those people. It seems you are paying him a very fair price for everything you bought. You should get some reward for putting in the work helping him out. Great price for that first juggernaut. $200 for that grade seems very fair.
I think you have referred to a comic book restoration company? If so, can you pass name along?
Hey Mike! Great job on your quest of finding great comics! I enjoy your channel very much. Just bought Web of Spiderman 1!!!!! Ive watched atleast 10 or more of your posts! Youve inspired me to look different places to add to my collection. Thanks again!!!
Thank you for not being a comic selling channel, I really appreciate it.
You are a good man. I know there is a video already posted on how he did selling the books. Hope he did well.
Did he have the Sledge Hammer comic book, #2, a Marvel Comic. i think it was published in 1988.
