Activision has unveiled the team of Black Ops 6 Zombies: Requiem for a Lost Soul to players.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is set to launch on October 26th this year, bringing a new chapter to the Zombies segment of the series. Activision and Treyarch have released a new trailer and details about the upcoming zombie content for the game, introducing the team for Black Ops 6 Zombies: Requiem for a Lost Soul and a fresh storyline that ties into the events of Black Ops Cold War, extending the Black Aether narrative, as shown in the Black Ops 6 Zombies trailer.
According to the Call of Duty blog post that provides more information on Black Ops 6 Zombies, the following description is given:
“After two years of fighting undead outbreaks worldwide during the Call of Duty®: Black Ops Cold War timeline, the CIA-led Requiem team finally managed to close the last dimensional portal, sending its inhabitants back to the nightmarish Dark Aether. However, this victory came at a cost. Agent Samantha Maxis sacrificed herself to seal the twisted dimension from within. Furthermore, Requiem’s senior members were arrested by Project Director Edward Richtofen.
“Set over five years later, Black Ops 6 Zombies continues the Dark Aether storyline, exploring the fates of key characters and delving deeper into Richtofen’s motives and objectives. The former Requiem staff—Grigori Weaver, Mackenzie “Mac” Carver, Elizabeth Grey, Oskar Strauss, and Stoney Maddox (Raptor One)—have been imprisoned at Terminus, a mysterious outpost in the Philippine Sea.
After spending over five years in captivity, these characters have undergone significant changes.”
