After a relatively disappointing run in theaters, Captain America: Brave New World is heading to digital platforms this May.
For those who haven’t been keeping up with the latest Marvel Cinematic Universe fare (MCU), Captain America: Brave New World hit theaters on February 14 after a series of delays and reshoots. Perhaps surprisingly, the film overachieved in its debut weekend and brought in a $100 million+ haul.

Unfortunately for Marvel, fans and critics alike gave Brave New World tepid reviews, and the film quickly collapsed.
A Disappointing Box Office Performance
By the time the dust had settled, Brave New World ended its box office run with a global cume of $412.7 million.
As the first installment in the Captain America franchise bereft of Chris Evans’s Steve Rogers, Brave New World was not expected to reach the heights of Captain America: Civil War.

Still, prior to the film’s arrival, there had been hope that the film would end its box office run in the vicinity of Captain America: The Winter Soldier‘s $714.4 million haul. Obviously, the film fell short.
When Will ‘Brave New World’ Be Available on Digital?
After its disappointing theatrical run, Captain America: Brave New World is now heading to streaming.
As we have seen with previous underwhelming Marvel films such as The Marvels and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Captain America: Brave New World may find the audience that eluded it in theaters on digital platforms.

The film will be available to purchase on April 15. At this time, there is no word on when Captain America: Brave New World will hit Disney+.
