In this video I talk about the viral COMIC BOOK PALACE clip that took off on twitter or X as its now called. This clip from his YouTube show caused a big stir and conversation amongst a lot of creators and industry people in the comic space. A lot of it has devolved into personal attacks which I don’t want to focus on in this video. Rather I would like to add some extra context on to what Glen said in the clip. Why are self inserts so common? How did we actually get here? As someone who has been working in entertainment as a writer & directors for over 15 years, I share a little bit about my experience and what I ultimately think is going on.
