Exciting news for Dead by Daylight players – Castlevania is coming to the game and more details will be revealed soon.
Behaviour Interactive’s Dead by Daylight will soon feature a new licensed DLC with Castlevania joining the collection. While the exact contents of this DLC are yet to be disclosed, a reveal is scheduled for August 6th. Ahead of the reveal, a new teaser has been released to give players a glimpse of what’s to come.
The teaser for the Dead by Daylight/Castlevania crossover shows an open book with mysterious passages and a bat drawing. The teaser also features a blood spatter and the foreboding castle of Dracula in the background. More information is promised to be unveiled on Tuesday.
The text from the book reads:
“A chorus of shrill cries announces the malign swarm. An ill omen, they take flight with wings like stretched skin and travel under the cloak of night. In the darkness, thin eyes glow a hellfire red. They seem naturally drawn to blood. Last sighted in the village square, summoned in a cloud of mist.”

Typically, a full Dead by Daylight Chapter includes a Killer, a Survivor, and a new map. While details about the Castlevania DLC are scarce, it is speculated that the Killer may be a vampire, possibly Dracula. The mention of a “village square” hints at a possible map in an old town.
It remains to be seen if a Survivor will be included, but characters from the Belmont family, known vampire hunters in Castlevania, could be potential choices.
