Ryan Reynolds is already teasing his next project with Hugh Jackman, even before Deadpool and Wolverine hits cinemas. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Reynolds revealed that the duo has a new project in the works that won’t involve superheroes. He expressed his admiration for Jackman, emphasizing their successful working relationship and mutual support for each other.
Directed by Shawn Levy, Deadpool and Wolverine also stars Matthew Macfadyen, Emma Corrin, and potentially other familiar faces. The film follows the Merc with a Mouth as he teams up with Jackman’s mutant character to save the Sacred Timeline after being recruited by the TVA. Expect plenty of meta mayhem, as hinted in the trailers with Paul Rudd gags and references to Disney’s acquisition of 20th Century Fox.
Deadpool and Wolverine will premiere in UK cinemas on July 25, followed by US theaters the next day. Stay updated on all things MCU with our guide to Marvel Phase 5 while you wait for the film’s release.
