I watched your video. Kudos to Williamson for having respect for his work and integrity to realize he might have taken on too much, resulting in his writing suffering. It’s clear that the pressure was weighing on him, leading him to put aside some of his titles. I already respected him, despite not being a fan of his writing. I’ve read interviews and seen his professional and kind approach to comics, which made me critique his writing only. This recent decision has made me respect him even more. I hope he takes some time off to recharge and create better works in the future. I also hope he stays at DC, as his honesty is much needed. His weaker works do not harm the characters or future narratives, unlike some other writers. Let’s hope we don’t get a worse writer for these series.
