Seeing as the Viltrumites are some of the most powerful people in the Invincible Universe, it’s probably not a good thing when one lands right next to your and your mother while you’re having dinner, but this is exactly what happens to Mark Grayson when a viltrumite named Anissa lands on earth and immediately tells Mark that if he doesn’t come with her right now she’s going to end his mother right infront of him. This causes Mark to come with her 2 miles up in the sky, where she apologizes to Mark saying this isn’t how she wanted to start this conversation, but she tries to convince Mark that siding with the Viltrumite empire would actually be good for the earthlings since they’d experience an amazing Utopia and technological advance for the hundreds of years it would take the Viltrumites to drain the resources off their planet, something that the humans are already doing. She also tells Mark that part of her mission on earth is to have a child with the assigned Viltrumite agent for the planet, however she tells Mark that she’ll give him time to decide what he wants to do with her and Earth, however when the time comes for him to be replaced by another Viltrumite so they can complete the mission, she’ll be back for him to force him to comply.
