I’m sure that there are more people than just me that get excited for the new comic book solicitations. Sometimes they let us down and sometimes we get a first look at some really cool titles. I spend quite a bit of time reading through them every month and doing some research to connect the dots for our CBNS Exclusive family. As paid subscribers, they always get this information first. However, I wanted to start doing a monthly speculation breakdown for our entire audience after the dust settles so you can see what you might be missing and save you all some time.
The first thing that caught my attention from Marvels April Solicitations was Bloodhunt #1. I see two characters that will be a part of this series that collectors should consider stocking up on. First is Bloodline, her first appearance is still a cheap book due to it being a FCBD. For those that don’t know her name is Brielle and you should buy FCBD 2022: Avengers / X-Men: Judgement Day #1. It’s been almost two years and we’ve seen her a consistent basis. Finally, in this same series we see Hunter’s Moon. His first full appearance is in Moon Knight #3 from 2021.
Second, we see that Mei aka Maystorm will be front and center in Ultimate X-Men #2. She will be teaming up with Hisako aka Armor. Her first cameo appearance is in Ultimate Universe #1 from November 2023 this would not be the book to get in my opinion. She is in a two-page preview of Ultimate X-Men #1 and she’s in like one panel. Her first full appearance without question will be in Ultimate X-Men #1 coming March 2024.
