It looks as though DC Studios has moved even closer to choosing its Supergirl with two actors having now reportedly screentested for the role.
According to a new report from The Hollywood Reporter, DC Studios has brought Milly Alcock and Meg Donnelly to Atlanta this week to screentest for Supergirl. Both James Gunn and Peter Safran ā€“ co-CEOs of DC Studios ā€“ were said to be in attendance.
Alcock is best known for playing Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen in House of the Dragon.

Donnelly has starred in Disney Channelā€™s Zombies. She may have a leg up having already voiced Supergirl in the DC animated movies Legion of Superheroes and Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths Part One.

While Supergirl will be getting her own film ā€“ Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow ā€“ she is reportedly set to make her debut in Superman: Legacy. Actress and playwright Ana Nogueira is currently writing the script for the Supergirl solo film, but no director has been attached as of yet.
Superman: Legacy will hit theaters on July 11, 2025
