Exciting news for Minecraft Bedrock players as Bundles are finally coming!
Four years ago, during Minecraft Live 2020, it was announced that a new feature called Bundles would be added to Minecraft to improve storage utilization. This feature has already been implemented in Minecraft Java Edition 3.5 years ago, and now, according to the latest “Minecraft Monthly” video, Minecraft Bedrock players will soon have access to this inventory tool.
“That’s right. Bundles. Get ready to optimize your inventory with… Bundles. We first introduced this inventory space-saving item at Minecraft Live 2020, and now it’ll be easier for you to add, view, or withdraw items from your bundle. Keep an eye out for bundles coming to Bedrock betas and previews on Minecraft.Net.”
Aside from Bundles, the “Feature in the Making… | Minecraft Monthly” video also mentions the availability of Tricky Trials in Bedrock and Java Edition, the upcoming Summer Celebration on the Marketplace, and the release of the Tetris add-on for Bedrock Edition. The Trial Mask, a popular item, is being offered as a free gift on the Minecraft Marketplace for Bedrock Edition players. Minecraft also hints at more exciting Marketplace content to come during the Summer Celebration.
You can watch the video below for more details, and if you’re unfamiliar with Bundles in Minecraft, the information is provided below.
Bundles in Minecraft
Bundles are a useful tool for inventory management as they allow players to store different types of items in the same slot. Each bundle has 64 slots, with each item taking up one slot. Items that stack up to 64 will only occupy one slot, while items with lower stack amounts will take up multiple slots. Non-stackable items like weapons and armor will fill all 64 slots of the bundle. Bundles cannot be stacked, but they can be nested inside each other, using four bundle slots plus additional slots for the items inside the nested bundle.
