The cast of Peacemaker season 2 has grown again with the addition of Sol Rodríguez and David Denman to the series.
James Gunn has confirmed the new cast members, with Rodriguez set to portray Sasha Bordeaux. The character was first introduced in Detective Comics #751 and has strong ties to Checkmate after starting as an ally of Batman.
Denman’s role in the series has not yet been disclosed.
Furthermore, it was announced that Gunn will direct three episodes of the season, including the premiere.
Peacemaker season 2 has recently started production, featuring returning actors John Cena as Christopher Smith/Peacemaker, Freddie Stroma as Adrian Chase/Vigilante, Frank Grillo as Rick Flag St., Danielle Brooks as Leota Adebayo, Jennifer Holland as Emilia Harcourt, and Steve Agee as John Economos.
Gunn has also revealed that season 2 will be set in the new DCU rather than the old DCEU. Details on how this will be addressed, if at all, have not been disclosed yet.
No official release date has been announced for Peacemaker season 2.
