During an interview at the recent Golden Globes ceremony, Rachel Brosnahan shared some of her early thoughts about Lois Lane in Superman: Legacy.
Speaking with Extra, Brosnahan was asked what she plans to bring to the role of Lois Lane that we haven’t seen as of yet, Brosnahan replied, “We’ve been having a lot of great conversations, David (Corenswet) and I, with James Gunn, the director. We’ve been talking a lot about where this project fits into the canon of the Supermans that we know. So hopefully, this’ll be… we’ll be putting our own stamp on things.”
Asked if we may see her version of Lois Lane in glasses, the actor replied, “I don’t know, actually. Maybe. We haven’t gotten that far in the fittings yet.”
The cast is set to include David Corenswet as Superman, and Brosnahan as Lois Lane. They will all be joined by Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl, Edi Gathegi as Mister Terrific, Anthony Carrigan as Metamorpho, Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner, Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen, Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, Sara Sampaio as Eve Teschmacher, and María Gabriela de Faría as the Engineer.
With filming slated to begin in March, and numerous other roles to still be announced, there are sure to be more announcements in the coming weeks.
Superman: Legacy will hit theaters on July 11, 2025.
