What’s it like preparing to play one of the most famous journalists in all of fiction? Rachel Brosnahan has discussed some of her preparation for the role of Lois Lane in Superman: Legacy.
Brosnahan attended the SAG Awards on Saturday night and spoke with Deadline about her upcoming turn as Lois Lane. “I’m still preparing. I’m talking to some journalists, I’m reading a lot of comics — so many I hadn’t read before. It’s been really fun to dig into this universe,” said Brosnahan.
And she also shared her reaction to the Superman suit, saying, “I got to see the suit — and I was blown away, so I hope the fans are as well.”
Also in attendance was Anthony Carrigan who will be playing Metamorpho in the film. Asked about the project, he said, “I am incredibly excited. I’m bringing a character to life that, you know, has never been done before. There’s some pressure there.” He went on to add, “I’m thrilled to be a part of it. I’m honored to be a part of it.”
Superman: Legacy is due to start shooting this week and is scheduled to hit theaters on July 11, 2025.
