Batman, with a new bloody Batsymbol on his chest, takes on gang members in an ancient trainyard on his way to meet Two-Face. Using sound wave speakers, Batman removes an azmer demon from Two-Face, allowing Harvey to regain control. He seeks Harvey’s help against the Orgham forces.
Three years after leaving her Joker’s Daughter persona, Duela Dent lives in Gotham and receives a disturbing visit from Joker. He frames her for microwaving one of her landlord’s cats and leaves her with his old mask.
Jim Gordon obtains information on the Orgham’s plans from Oracle and shares it with Commissioner Montoya.
Batman shares the data with the Ten-Eyed Man to identify patterns.
The Orghams aim to release the disenfranchised led by a Shadow Angel to take over Gotham.
Batman teams up with Nightwing, Cassandra Cain Batgirl, and Azrael to counter the Orghams’ false flag attack and protect Gotham.
Duela embraces her Joker’s Daughter persona again, committing brutal acts as Gotham faces chaos.

With three issues remaining in his run, Ram V introduces new elements to the story as it approaches its climax. However, the addition of more characters and plotlines adds to the confusion.
The characterization of established characters like Joker’s Daughter and Two-Face is well done, but the overarching Orgham plot remains convoluted and frustrating.
The backup story “Habeas Corpus” explores Two-Face’s internal conflict and decision-making process, adding depth to the character.
Despite some positives in characterization and artwork, the overall storyline of Detective Comics #1086 continues to be unclear and disjointed.
