What’s not so great about Titans: Beast World #6? Everything surrounding Amanda Waller’s “plan” feels contrived, convenient, and unbelievable. Why would the people of Earth be on her side? Taylor didn’t put in the work to make Waller’s public position feel plausible or make sense, so DC may be setting up Waller to be the big bad for 2024, but they’re doing a poor job of it.

Bits and Pieces:
Titans: Beast World #6 brings the crossover event to a close with big, wild action, decent emotional beats, and a few open threads to portend things to come. Sure, there are plenty of knuckleheaded plot holes, and you could see the twists coming from a mile away, but Beast World is still one of the more entertaining DC events in the last few years.
