Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game fans have been enjoying a feast of new releases in recent years. Next week, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Wrath of the Mutants will be released, followed by Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants Unleashed later this year by Outright Games. Today’s Nintendo Indie World presentation added another exciting announcement to the mix.
Last year, the roguelike game Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate, developed by Super Evil Megacorp, was exclusively available on the Apple Arcade subscription service. While some enjoy playing on mobile devices or the service, there is always hope that these games will find their way to other platforms. This July, Splintered Fate will be coming to the Nintendo Switch as a timed console exclusive.
In Splintered Fate, players control the Turtles as they battle the Foot Clan and travel through mysterious portals to rescue their master, Splinter. In classic roguelike style, each portal journey is a run where the goal is to progress as far as possible without dying. The further you go, the more powerful you become, but one wrong move can cost you your upgrades.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate will debut on Nintendo Switch in July, with other console and PC releases to be announced.
