About the Book:
Blue Book #4 begins with a session with Dr. Simon, what is revealed by Betty Hill about their abduction brings new light to the abduction stories, and reveals that she almost had physical proof of what happened to them.
Reviewer’s Notes:
This story continues to provide details into the abduction of Barney and Betty Hill. Through the power of hypnosis by one Dr. Simon. As the story unfolds it sheds a light on what the story says actually happened, and while I have seen stories about events that happen in later years. The reports are all the same, and while the entire account of Barney and Betty Hill has been misconstrued by some people saying that their story is more about racism then actually being abducted, because they were a mixed race couple at a time when it was taboo.
What the story portrays matches details when compared to other people with almost identical stories. Which brings me to the point that if you are a ufo enthusiast then this story adds credence to the story originally told by Barney and Betty Hill, and therefore makes the reader actually feel sorry for them in a way, as the facts themselves lead to what can be considered a traumatic event.
But as the reader I still find the story interesting. It holds my attention, and has me wanting to continue the story to see how it plays out. I know what the internet says about the couple. But if this story is based on actual facts from Barney and Betty HIll as well as the Dr. Simon that provided to them in trying to get through this. Then I am here for the ride!
The cover itself is wonderfully well done and reminds me of other images I have seen. Essentially referencing the fact the book is so powerful in knowledge that the hair is blown back and makes me wonder if this is not part of where the idea of mind blown actually came from.
The interior artwork continues with the 3 color approach. But it still by no means distracts from the story. The emotions on the faces of Barney and Betty Hill during their abduction are still felt as the book intended, making the reader understand just what is going on in the story itself. I think that it is a strikingly bold approach and is well done.
