RUMOR: Nicolas Cage in Negotiations for Starring Role in Live-Action ‘Spider-Man: Noir’ Series on Amazon

Nicolas Cage has portrayed various iconic comic book characters such as Ghost Rider, Superman, and Spider-Man Noir in the Spider-Verse movies. Now, he is reportedly in talks to reprise his role as Spider-Man Noir in a live-action series on Amazon.

The Ankler reported that Cage is in serious discussions to return as Spider-Man Noir in his own series, with Oren Uziel as the writer and Steve Lightfoot as co-showrunner and executive producer. Details about the cast and crew are being kept under wraps.

Spider-Man: Noir will focus on an older, more experienced superhero in 1930s New York City. The show will have its own universe and the main character will not be Peter Parker.
